Local Cemeteries

There are over 50 cemeteries located in Wells County alone, with dozens more in surrounding areas. Although many of them are no longer active, many still remain available for the purchasing of grave plots. Below you will find a brief overview of some of our area's larger and more active cemeteries, along with contact information. Six Mile Cemetery

Located southeast of Bluffton on State Road 116, two miles East of State Road 1, this cemetery is directly across the street from Six Mile Church. For additional information, such as purchasing of grave plots, please contact Scott Shoup (260) 273-7120.

Fairview Cemetery

Located on State Road 124, less than one half mile East of State Road 1 in Bluffton, this cemetery is directly across the street from Goodwin Memorial Chapel. Stahl Cemetery

Located one mile south of Reiffsburg, IN, this cemetery is located on 700 South, only one half mile West of State Road 1. For additional information, such as purchasing grave plots, please contact Rick King (260) 273-8925.

Elm Grove Cemetery

Located on the intersection of State Road 124 & Elm Grove Road, this cemetery is located about one half mile East of State Road 1 in Bluffton. For additional information regarding this cemetery, please contact the cemetery office (260) 824-2832, located across the street from Fairview Cemetery.

Apostolic Christian Cemetery

Located on the intersection of County Line Road and 200 South, directly across from the Apostolic Christian Church East, this cemetery sits on the Adams County side of the road. With additional questions regarding this cemetery, please contact Dean Gerber (260) 565-3773.

Oak Lawn Cemetery

Located on the South edge of Ossian, IN, this cemetery sits on the intersection of State Road 1 and 900 North. For additional information, such as purchasing of grave plots, please contact Bill Dowty (260) 622-6526.

Mossburg Cemetery
