Zachary Hunter Jones, 21, son of Dr. Larry G. Jones and Sue Ellen (Hunter) Jones, of Bluffton, passed away Nov. 26, 2014. He was born March 22, 1993. He graduated from Bluffton High School in 2011. He was a member of the Bengal Brigade Marching band for five years. Zachary attended Indiana University and IPFW. He was a gifted musician and enjoyed composing music on the piano in eclectic styles. The deep feelings he rarely spoke were expressed eloquently in his music. Zachary was one of five close-knit brothers: David (Gwen Cook) Jones of Indianapolis, Jeff (Jana Szabela) of Zionsville, and Kipp (Johanna Loell) of Dryden, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Christopher Jones, in 1998; and grandparents Bruce Hunter and Charles and Ethel Jones. His surviving grandmother is Beverly Hunter, of Bluffton. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at the First United Methodist Church in Bluffton. It will be preceded by the recorded music of Zachary Jones starting at 10 a.m. Preferred memorials are to the Bluffton Band Boosters through the Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel.
