Wilma J. Valentine, 76, of Bluffton, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born Sept. 22, 1937, in Poteau, Okla., to Evelyn M. Walker Marshall and Eston V. Marshall. She married Walter B. Valentine Feb. 21, 1998, in Bluffton; he preceded her in death June 15, 2010. Survivors include two sons, Robin D. Brock of Hartford City, and M. Ray Brock of Denver, Col.; sisters, Delores C (Herschel) Baker of Montpelier, and Joann Hamilton of Blufton; a brother, John L. (Dorothy) Marshall of Bluffton; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky D. Brock, and a sister, Berneice F. Whitesell. A memorial service will be held at noon Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. Calling hours are 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
