W."Joe" Huss, 55, of Bluffton, passed away Saturday morning, December 19, 2020, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Ft. Wayne, IN.

Joe was born in Bluffton on May 22, 1965 to Robert Gene and Judith Ann (Shady) Huss, both parents preceded him in death.

He graduated from  Bluffton High School in 1984. Joe served in the United States Marine Corp. and worked at Almco Steel for 25 years and was employed with American Axle. He enjoyed fishing, attending auctions and garage sales, collecting antiques, cooking for his family and raising and caring for his dogs.

Joe is survived by a daughter; Charity Hope Huss of Bluffton, his step-father; Douglas L. Huss of Bluffton, one sister; Kim (Steve) Hatfield of Bluffton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; Jeffrey Huss and three step-sister; Meredith Carter, Stephanie Huss and Angela McHenry.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at the Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. Military Honors will be conducted at 3:00 PM by the American Legion Honor Guard Post 43 of Decatur, IN at the funeral home.
