Viva P. Falk, 99, of Bluffton, passed away Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 7, 1916, in Lancaster Township to Isom Elzey and Effie Decker Elzey. She married Leon S. Falk March 22, 1941, in Bluffton; he preceded her in death Feb. 2, 1986.

She was a 1934 graduate of Lancaster High School and was a housewife. She was the last of her family.

Survivors include sons, Richard Falk of Bluffton, Dennis (Lorraine) Falk of Bluffton and David (Terri) Falk of Bluffton; a daughter, Diane (Les) Claghorn of Bluffton; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Claghorn; brothers, Earl, Fred, Donald and Byrl Elzey; sisters, Ruth Elzey, Mary Davison, Erma Ulmer, LeLa Ormsby, Minnie Rupright, Doris Schwartz and Maxine Dentel.

A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel with Dr. Bryson E. Bell officiating. Calling hours are from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
