Violet June "Vi" Ringger, 95, of Bluffton, died at 7:35 p.m. Saturday evening, Sept. 5, 2015, at Christian CareRetirement Community. She was born June 22, 1920, in Wells County to Sam and Minnie (Gilliom) Aeschliman. She marriedSylvan "Sib" Ringger May 9, 1943, in Bluffton; he preceded her indeath April 10, 2015. She was a homemaker who loved cooking and baking for her family. She was a member of Apostolic Christian Church in Bluffton. She was named Indiana State Volunteer of the Year in the 1980s for her volunteer work at Christian Care Retirement Community. She is survived by two sons, Sam (Becky) Ringger and Steve (Myra) Ringger, both of Bluffton; two daughters, Carol (Dennis) Klopfenstein of Bluffton, and Lela (Greg) Leman of Waco, Texas; a brother, E. William "Bill" (Elizabeth) Aeschliman of Bluffton; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter, Ervin and Dale Aeschliman. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Bluffton North Apostolic Christian Church, with Nile Bucher and Steve Frauhiger officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel and Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the church.
