Vernie P. Osborn, 70 Vernie P. Osborn, 70, rural Bluffton, died at 8:10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at her home.Mrs. Osborn was a teacher's aide for Adams-WellsSpecial Services, retiring in 2001.She was also a homemaker. She attended the Liberty Center United Methodist Church; she had been a member of the Prairie Church,which is now closed. She was born June 29, 1938, in Mercer County, Ohio, to Oatis R. and Jessie Ireland Frank. She married Paul L. Osborn June 17, 1956, in Adams County. Her husband died Aug. 22, 1995. Survivors include four sons,Dennis Osborn of Fort Wayne and James (Tami) Osborn, Jeff (Cheryl) Osborn, and Ralph Osborn, all of Bluffton; a daughter, Dawn (Doug) Lewis of Bluffton; eight grandchildren; and two sisters, S. Janice Myers of West Mill Grove, Ohio, and Trolus (Tom) Kahn of Craigville. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Buddy Frank and Bobby Frank. Calling will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. Services will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Steve Bard officiating. Burial will be at the Prospect Cemetery, Uniondale. Preferred memorials are to Family Hospice and Palliative
