Vera Vaughn, 65, of Bluffton, passed away Saturday morning, Apr. 17, 2021, at her residence.

Vera was born in Ft. Wayne on Dec. 19, 1955, to Donald R. and Aunalee E. (Beam) Roberts.  She married James L. Vaughn Sr. in West Unity, OH, on Mar. 31, 1980.  He preceded her in death on June 8, 1998.

Vera worked at Bluffton Rubber Company as an inspector for 15 years.  She then worked at Pretzels, Inc. in Bluffton for another 11 years as a packer, until retirement.  After retiring, Vera enjoyed her time as a full-time grandmother and complaining about chores.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include a daughter, Shelly Vaughn of Bluffton; a son, Shawn Vaughn of Bluffton; a sister, Judy (Dan) Loe of Columbia City; two grandsons, Cristian James Warner and Aiden Tussinger; two great-granddaughters, Aliceyn-Eve Jane Edsall and Sofia-Marie Lynn Edsall; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Vera was preceded in death by a grandson, Shawn Vaughn Jr.; a brother, Jerry Roberts; and a sister, Neva Ramseyer.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Apr. 20, 2021, from 4:00 until 8:00 PM, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton.  Services will be held Wednesday, Apr. 21 ^st , at 10:00 AM, at the funeral home, with one hour of visitation prior to the service.  Pastor Roy Nevil will officiate.  Burial will follow at Six Mile Cemetery in Bluffton.
