Venus C. Zadylak, 70, of Bluffton, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at River Terrace Estates.
  She was born June 15, 1947, in Baltimore, Md., to Elizabeth Pattison Dorr; she survives in Augusta, Ga. She married Ira P. Zadylak in Seneca Park, Md., June 18,  1966; he survives.
  Venus retired from Inventory Control in New York. She earned her business associates degree from Anne Arundel Community College. She attended the First  Presbyterian Church in Bluffton.
  She enjoyed traveling and reading. She was a lifelong bowler and was an avid wine connoisseur.
  Survivors include a son, Michael (Christine) Zadylak of Bluffton; two grandchildren, Kyra and Kade Zadylak, both of Bluffton; three brothers, James (Joann) Fredo Sr. of  Virginia Beach, Va., John (Cindy) Fredo of Augusta, Ga., and Eugene Fredo of Virginia Beach, Va.; and one sister, Elizabeth Fredo of York, S.C.
  A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at the First Presbyterian Church of Bluffton with Pastor Carol Pierson officiating.  Calling hours are 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be at a later date.
