Ty Daniel Long, age 26, of Bluffton, passed away Thursday afternoon, Dec. 27, 2018, at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne.

Ty was born on June 25, 1992, in Bluffton, to Daniel E. and Julie A. (Dustman) Long.

Ty was a Baltimore Ravens fan and a sports enthusiast, whether it was watching or playing.

He is survived by both his parents, Dan and Julie Long of Bluffton; a sister, Leah (Ryan) Pursley of Bluffton; a niece, Renner Pursley; maternal grandmother, JoAnn Dustman of Bluffton; two aunts, Sherry (Rick) Hughett of Bluffton, and Debra West of Falling Waters, WV; and two uncles, Brian Dustman (Julie Longenberger) of Bluffton, and Tony Long of Falling Waters, WV.  He is also survived by three cousins, Mariah (Cody) Stocker, Zach Hughett, and Tony West; along with the family dog, Maddie.

Ty was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Larry Dustman; paternal grandmother, Geraldine Long; and cousin, Trey Hughett.

Private family services are being held.  Burial will be at Six Mile Cemetery in Bluffton.  Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
