Trey Joseph Hughett, 19, of Bluffton, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015, in Bluffton. He was born Jan. 26, 1996, in Bluffton to Rick J. and Sherry L. Dustman Hughett; they survive in Bluffton. He graduated from Bluffton High School in 2014 and worked as a shredder at Alexin in Bluffton since that year. Trey loved following college basketball, spending time with family and friends and going to the movies. He also enjoyed his work. Survivors include his grandparents, Larry and JoAnn Dustman of Bluffton, Jesse R. Hughett of Robins, Tenn., and Kathy Retterer of Fort Wayne; aunts and uncles, Brian Dustman of Bluffton, Julie (Daniel) Long of Bluffton, Chris (Charlien) Hughett of Fort Wayne, and Jesse Hughett of Fort Wayne; a brother, Zachary V. Hughett of Bluffton; a sister, Mariah K. Hughett of Bluffton; nieces, Ambrosia, Brianna, Carissa and Savanna Hughett; and cousins, Ty Long, Leah Dustman and Brody Hughett. A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 23, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel with James Poling officiating. Visitation is from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 22, and one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Six Mile Cemetery.
