Obituary

Trayton M. Gerber, 28, passed away on Saturday morning, Jan. 30, 2021, at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne, IN.

Trayton was born in Bluffton on Oct. 12, 1992, to Blake and Fawn (Moser) Gerber, both parents survive in Bluffton.

He attended Bluffton High School and Bi- County Services in Bluffton and attended the Apostolic Christian Church. Trayton enjoyed car rides, taking boat rides at the lake and cruising around with family on his golf cart. He was known as "Boo Boo" by his nieces and nephew. Trayton cherished spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Trayton is survived by three sisters, Taye (Blake) Fiechter of Bluffton, Taryn (Drew) Schumacher of West Lafayette and Takaylah "Tiki" Gerber of Bluffton; three nieces and a nephew, Stowe Fiechter, Oaklyn Fiechter, Kaehria Fiechter and Bray Schumacher; grandparents, Edna Moser and Louise Gerber, both of Bluffton; and several aunts and uncles.

Trayton was preceded in death by two grandparents; Wm. Gene Moser and Carroll Gerber.

The family would like to thank everyone for all the love, support, prayers and words of encouragement that they received over the years on Trayton's behalf.

Private family visitation will be held at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, followed immediately by a private family funeral service. Ryan Bertsch and Tim Drayer will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Adams County.

Memorial donations may be made to Agape Respite Care in Berne, IN. or Bluffton High School Special Needs Program or Bi-County Services.
