Timothy D. Holmes, 62, of Bluffton, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. He was born March 16, 1951,in Bluffton to Francis and Wilda Brickley Holmes; both survive in Bluffton. Tim is a 1969 graduate of Bluffton High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1973. He worked for Wells County Solid Waste District for 13 years. Survivors include a son, Jamie B. Holmes of Garrett; daughter, Devon K. (friend Jordyn Moore)Holmes; companion's son, Ty Crispen of Bluffton; brothers, Terry (Joyce) Holmes of Churubusco, Carey (Susie) Holmes of Fort Wayne, Jeffery (Bobbie Dent) Holmes of Fort Wayne, Kevin (Jan) Holmes of Bluffton, Robin (Denette) Holmes of Bluffton; a sister, Pam (Dennis) Bober of Florida; and six grandchildren, Zane Hargrove, Hannah Ruedlenger, Christian Newton, Tyler Crispen, Lily Crispen and Kayne Holmes. He was preceded in death by his companion, Robin Crispen. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel, with Barry Crosbie officiating.
