Obituary
Thomas A. Woodward, 53, of Bluffton, passed away at 11:15 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Canterbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Wayne.
He was born Aug. 13, 1963, in Fort Wayne, to Leonard J. and Betty M. Carmean Woodward. He married Julie K. Wile on Nov. 4, 1995, in Bluffton; she survives.
A 1981 Norwell High School graduate, he worked as a cook at the American Legion in Bluffton. He had been disabled for several years. He enjoyed cooking and reading and was an avid John Wayne fan.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Joshua S. Woodward of Bluffton. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private, family service will be held at a later date. No public viewing is planned.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to teh care of Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton.
