Thomas A. Hullinger, 54, of Fort Wayne, passed away at 5:54 a.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Bluffton on Jan. 16, 1959 to Robert K. and Jane A. (Jacobs) Hullinger Sr., he graduated from Bluffton High School in 1977 and served in the U.S. Navy during the Persian Gulf War. He was a life-long painter,working for many different Fort Wayne area businesses. Survivors include his mother, of Ossian; two daughters, Josie Nicole (Matt) Tatom of Marshall, Ill., and Abby Ilene (fiance, Alan Spahr) Hullinger of Portland; two brothers, John M. (Julie) Hullinger of Angola, and Robert K. Hullinger Jr. of Warren; a sister, Rebecca K. (Stan) Worthman of Ossian; four grandchildren, Jade, Lana, Makaio and Kiya Tatom, all of Marshall, Ill.; and an aunt, Roberta (Mitt) Rupley of South Whitley. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, William J. Hullinger. Per Thomas' request, there will be no calling or services. Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
