Terry Shepherd, 64, of Bluffon, died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 8, 1952, in Hazard, Ky., to Margaret Combs and Bazle Shepherd Jr.; his mother survives in Bluffton.

He was a Navy Veteran serving from 1970-1972 and a 1970 Bluffton High School graduate.

He is survived by a daughter, Tara Lynn Shepherd of Hudson, and a brother, Kenneth (Vicki Lynn) Shepherd of Bluffton; and 4 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Amber Lynn Baker.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at Fairview Cemetery in Bluffton. Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
