Terry A. Murray, 59, of Bluffton, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016, at Christian Care Retirement Community.
Terry was born Feb. 17, 1957, to George R. Paul and Barbara Boulware Paul in San Antonio, Texas. She married Darrell G. Murray in Markle June 16, 1978; he survives.
She was a 1975 graduate of Huntington North High School and was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church. She earned her associate's degree from IPFW. She worked with the Bureau of Motor Vehicles at the Decatur and Bluffton branches from 2003 until her death. She also worked at the Bluffton News-Banner and Southern Wells Schools. She served as "Snickers the Clown" for 10 years. She published the IU cook book and owned Mrs. Murray's Cookies. Terry enjoyed white water rafting, riding the motorcycle with her husband, fishing, and most of all helping others.
Survivors include a son, Matthew (Stephanie) Murray of Noblesville; three grandchildren, Kaylee, Ethan and Lily Murray; a sister, Suzann Paul of Ossian; and a brother, Rex R. (Virginia) Paul of Angola.
A service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 19, at the Bluffton North Apostolic Christian Church with Steve Frauhiger and Doyle Frauhiger officiating. Calling hours are from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, at the church, 630 E. Dustman Road, and at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church until the time of the service. Burial will be at Markle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wells County Food Bank or the Friends Who Care Cancer Relief Foundation.
