Terry W. Kaehr, 77, of Bluffton, passed away Monday afternoon, May 1, 2017.

Born in Bluffton on March 10, 1940, to William and Vandetta Hupp Kaehr, Terry married Ailyn Quinawayan in Ft. Wayne on Feb. 7, 2007; she survives.

Terry worked various jobs in the area and retired from the Ft. Wayne Vehicle Auction.  He served in the United States Navy from 1957 until 1963, and attended Sonlight Wesleyan Church in Bluffton.

In addition to his wife, Terry is survived by a son, Terry A. Kaehr of Bluffton; a daughter, Terry M. Kaehr of Bluffton; two step-daughters, Elilyn and Ericka Miranda, both of Bluffton; and two brothers, Bill Kaehr of Phoenix, AZ, and Bob (Winnie) Kaehr of Huntington.

Aside from his parents, Terry was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Kaehr.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 4, 2017, from 2:00 until 5:00 PM, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, with a funeral service beginning at 6:00 PM at the funeral home Thursday evening, with Pastor Lyle Breeding officiating.  A private graveside service will be held at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery with military graveside rites provided by the Bluffton American Legion Post 111 in conjunction with the United States Navy.
