Steven J. Shady, 63, of Kendallville, died at 12:12 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, in Kendallville. Mr. Shady was born Feb. 4, 1950, in Bluffton, to William A. Shady and Delores I. Baumgartner. He married his wife, Cathy, on Oct. 17, 1977, in Kendallville. His wife survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Angela (Gregory) Liston and Lindsey (Christopher) Liston, both of Fort Wayne, and a granddaughter. Services were scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel with calling prior to the time of service. Burial will be at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
