Sharon C. Stanton, 75, of Bluffton, passed away March 3, 2014, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center. Sharon was born May 23, 1938, in Jay County to Glen and Grace Parr Bosworth. She married Paul V. Stanton Dec. 27, 1953, in Bluff Point, Ind.; he survives. Sharon was a homemaker and worked at Dutch Mill and Dairy Queen in Bluffton. She graduated from Jefferson High School and attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Bluffton. Survivors include two sons, Ed (Linda) Stanton of Liberty Center and David (Shella) Stanton of Geneva; five daughters, Debbie Gregg of Geneva, Carol Stanton of Bluffton, Paula (Fred) Hunnicutt of Bluffton, Susan (Jim) Lloyd of Fort Wayne, and Karen (Robert) Kelly of Bluffton; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenny Bosworth of Portland; and a sister, Janeane Norris of Montezuma, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a grandchild; brothers, Harrison, Gean, Merle and Rev. Norm Bosworth; and two sisters, Nevo Lunn and Letha Turnquist. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, at the First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Tim Miller officiating. Calling hours are from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, at the church, as well as one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery.
