Sara Lynn Hunt, 59, of Keystone, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at her home, with her family by her side. She was born March 13, 1956, in Wells County to James and Elsie M. (Moss) Gearheart. She married Larry E. Hunt Nov. 30, 1974, in Bluffton; he survives. She was a homemaker who graduated from Southern Wells High School in 1974. She attended Hope Missionary Church. She was a homeschool teacher for her children, and her grandchildren were No. 1 to her. She is survived by her husband; four daughters, Jessica M. (Jeff) McLaughlin of Bluffton, Trisha L. (Thad) Stoops of Modoc, Rita A. Hunt of Keytone, and Alyson B. (Jason) Spiegel of Decatur; eight brothers, Tom (Joyce) Gearheart of Hartford City, Joe (Elizabeth) Gearheart of Montpelier, Lee (Penny) Gearheart of Texas, Steve Gearheart of Hartford City, Jerry (Sharyl) Gearheart of Ohio, John Gearheart of Poneto, Mike (Natalie) Gearheart of Colorado, and Dale (JoAn) Gearheart of Poneto; three sisters, Carolyn (Larry) Bayless of North Carolina, Linda (Steve) Geisman of Tennessee, and Kathy (Gary) Rhodes of Bluffton; and 15 grandchildren, Andrew J. McLaughlin, Noah J. McLaughlin, Zachariah T. McLaughlin,Jeremiah E. McLaughlin, Anna McLaughlin, Ada McLaughlin, Laura L. Stoops, Martina G. Stoops, Audrey C. Stoops, Keegan F.W. Stoops, Matthias H. Stoops, Thatcher E. Stoops, Major E. Spiegel, Macey L. Spiegel, and Tessa E. Spiegel. Sister-In-Law, Juanita Gearheart of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Benjamin Stoops, in 2003,and a brother, Jim Gearhart. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, Pastor Gary Aupperle officiating.
