Sally Jo Miller, 79, of Bluffton, passed away Monday evening, Nov. 2, 2020, at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne.

She was born in Bluffton on Dec. 6, 1940, to Harry W. and Helen W. (Jacobs) Johnson. She married Merrill J. Miller in Decatur on Dec. 14, 1968. Both parents and her husband preceded her in death.

Sally graduated from Bluffton High School and Indiana Business College. She volunteered for Community and Family Services in Bluffton, worked at Kitco Inc., CTS, and H.W. Johnson. She was also a member of First Reformed Church and the American Legion Ladies Auxillary both of Bluffton. She enjoyed reading, shopping, spending time with family, helping others, and spending time at the American Legion.

She is survived by four daughters, Patricia (John) Whitted of Mt. Vernon, OH., HolliAyn (Brackin) Brown, Suzanna Miller both of Bluffton, Tanya Brown of Marion, IN.; a son, Shawn (Anita) Miller of Berne; a brother, Ted (Margie) Johnson of Bluffton; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Aside from her parents and husband, Sally was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Bumgarner.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the family has requested there be no public services at this time. Burial will take place at the Fairview Cemetery at a later date.
