Ruth M. Whiteside, age 101, of Bluffton, passed away Thursday evening, April 26, 2019, at Signature Healthcare in Bluffton.

Ruth was born in Marion County, Indiana on September 1, 1917, to Joseph and Laura Gratter. Both parents preceded her in death. She married George H. Whiteside on July 3, 1942 in Cumberland, IN. George preceded her in death on March 3, 1999.

She is survived by a son, Steven Whiteside of San Diego, CA.; and two grandchildren.

In accordance to Ruth's wishes, there will be no public services.  Private family services and burial will take place at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Lawrence, IN.
