Russell W. Brown, 61, of Bluffton, passed away Saturday evening, August 18, 2018, at the KOA Campground in Bluffton.

Born in Portland on May 24, 1957, to Owen and Delores C. Marshall Brown who preceded him both in death. Russell married Paula A. (Priest) on April 16, 1993 in Bluffton, she survives.

Russell was a 1975 graduate of Huntington North High School. He served in the United States Navy for over three years, on the USS South Carolina. He was an independent truck driver for many years, he retired in 2014. Russell enjoyed woodworking, camping and drag racing as well.

Survivors include a daughter, Amanda C. Ramsey of Markle, two sons, Russell Maloney of Milton Florida and Dwayne Maloney of North Carolina; three sisters, Sherry (Ken) Hilard of Bluffton, Barbara Huffman of Bluffton and Diane (Tom) Brown of Costa Rica; a step father, Hershell Baker of Montpelier; seven grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at the KOA campground on August 26, 2018, at 3:00 P.M. Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
