Obituary

Rosella Marie Ringger, 97, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Swiss Village Retirement Community in Berne, IN.

She was born in Wells County to John and Olga (Speheger) Frauhiger on February 7, 1921. She Married LaVerne A. Ringger on May 17, 1941 in Bluffton, IN. He preceded her in death on April 12, 2010.

Rose was well known for her love for cleaning, baking and yard work. She cleaned homes for several families in Adams and Wells County over the years. She had also been employed by CTS Corporation and Swiss Village in Berne. She helped with the family farming operation for many years.

Rose is survived by her son, Art (Suzanne) Ringger of Greenville, South Carolina; a brother, Tom (Rose Marie) Frauhiger of Bluffton; three grandchildren, Allison (Chris) Koepper of Waikola Village, Hawaii, Tracy (Ben) Peterson of Simpsonville, SC, and  Emily (David) Ratliff of Simpsonville, SC; 3 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; Sister-In-Law, Lucile Frauhiger; a Brother-In-Law, Bill Ringger all of Bluffton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Loren, Leonard and Herb Frauhiger; two sisters, Mildred Gerber and Marjorie Ringger.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday April 28, 2018 at the Apostolic Christian Church East. Ron Kipfer and Vince Pfister will officiate. Burial will be in the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Wells County, IN.

Visitation will be on Friday April 27, 2018 from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, with one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.

Preferred memorials are to the Swiss Village Retirement Community or Family LifeCare of Berne, IN.
