Rose Marie Steffen, 58, of Berne, died at 1:20 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at her residence. Mrs. Steffen was born in Orlando, Fla. on Feb. 21, 1952, to Donald and Betty (Huber) Lange. She married Ted L. Steffen in Pennville on Sept. 29, 1990; he survives. Other surviving relatives include three daughters, Diane Marie Crawl, Barbara Jean (Matt) Daisey and Maria (Jerry) Fenton; three sons, James Cory Beougher, Claude Sweazey and Ricky J. Hockenberry; two sisters, Sharon Hicks and Brebda Klien, both of Celina, Ohio; two brothers, Donald "Bill" (Connie) Lange and Richard "Dick" (Penny) Lange, both of Celina, Ohio; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Steffen was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Lange, and one sister, Deloris Lange. Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, and from 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel, 3220 E. Ind. 124, Bluffton. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 12, at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Bluffton.
