Ronald E. Yoss, 63, of Ossian, died at 12:08 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born April 4, 1952, in Decatur to Delbert G. and Treva Fern (Dailey) Yoss. He married Jacqueline "Jackie" Moses Aug. 24, 1991, in Kokomo; she preceded him in death April 23, 2009. He graduated from South Adams High School in 1970, and he retired from Northern Wells Community Schools in 2015 after 19 years as a bus driver. He loved spending time with the children as a bus driver. He was a gun enthusiast and he enjoyed electronics. He attended several churches in the Bluffton area. He is survived by a sister, Carol (Richard) Teeple of Bluffton; a brother, Delbert W. (Sharon) Yoss of Galliano, La.; eight nieces and nephews; and 13 great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marilyn Beeler. A service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, with Pastor Wayne Steury officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Geneva. Memorials to the Northern Wells Community Schools Transportation Fund.
