Ronald L. Milholland, age 74, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011, in Kamuala, Hawaii. He was born in Bluffton on Sept. 10, 1936, to Kedric and Mary Jane (Koenig) Milholland. He married Marlyn Runyon in Bluffton on April 21, 1957; she preceded him in death in 1966. He then married Natalie J. Pittenger in Bluffton on April 23, 1981; she survives. Ron was an executive/owner in restaurant business. He was affiliated with the Richard Restaurants. He graduated from Bluffton High School in 1954 and served in the U.S. Army Reserve. Ron loved spending time snow skiing, playing golf, and spending quality time with his family. Other surviving relatives include a daughter, Monica Milholland of Bluffton; a granddaughter, Haille Milholland of Bluffton; three brothers, Max (Sue) Milholland of Decatur, Mike (Sherry) Milholland of Gallatin, Tenn., and Jeff (Jenni) Milholland of Ossian; and two sisters, Toby Bryan of Bluffton and Karen (Richard) Shannon of Laotto. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Kedric Milholland. Calling hours will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 16, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 17, at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Bluffton. Preferred memorials are to the Wells County Foundation and the First Reformed Church of Bluffton.
