Roger L. Colby, 79, of Bluffton, passed away Sunday morning, August 2, 2015, at River Terrace Estates in Bluffton. Born on January 19, 1936, in Fort Wayne, IN, to George and Irma (Kelly) Colby, Roger married Becky Wisely in Fort Wayne on April 28, 1956; she survives. Along with his wife, Roger is survived by a brother, George (Jane) Colby of Wolcottville, IN; and a sister, Lily Hutchison of Huddleston, VA. Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Drew and Robert Colby; and two sisters, Meda Shilts and Eleanor Gerkins. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at Elm Grove Cemetery in Bluffton, at 2:00 PM, with Steve Surbaugh and Steve Schwartz officiating. Goodwin - Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
