Rochelle L. Gerber, 46, passed away Monday, December 13, 2021, at her residence

in Ft. Wayne, IN.

She was born in Bluffton, IN. on March 13, 1975, to Stanley H. Geisel and Cynthia A. (Rauch) Geisel, both parents survive in Bluffton. Her former husband and good friend, Rodney Gerber, he also survives in Bluffton.

Rochelle was a Bluffton High School class of 1993 graduate. She earned her RN degree from St. Francis School of Nursing in Ft. Wayne. Rochelle worked as an Uber/Lift driver and offered counseling services in the Ft. Wayne area.  She attended Heartland Church in Ft. Wayne and the Apostolic Christian Church in Bluffton. In her spare time, she enjoyed writing music, painting and artwork, writing poetry and designing landscaping. She also practiced Martial Arts and was a Black Belt.  Rochelle had a love for all animals, especially her cat Chloe.

She is survived by her former husband, parents, and a son; Jonathan Gerber of Columbia, South Carolina, a sister; Carissa (Jarod) Studabaker of Bluffton, and a brother; Zachary (Miriam) Geisel of Bluffton, two grandparents; Virginia Rauch and Ellen Geisel, both of Bluffton, and several nieces and nephews.

Rochelle was preceded in death by a son, Luke Gerber in 2003, and two grandparents; Jerome Rauch and Harold Geisel.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021, from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Bluffton North Apostolic Christian Church in Bluffton, visitation will be held at 9:00 AM until service time at the church. Jeremy Frauhiger and Tim Drayer will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Bluffton.
