Robert E. "Bob" Grimm Sr., 73, of Poneto, passed away Saturday evening, Dec. 10, 2016, at his residence.

Born in Petroleum on Dec. 28, 1942, to Harold C. and Dorothy (Ruse) Grimm, Bob married Judy (Bricker) Williams in Bluffton on Dec. 21, 1991; she survives.

Bob was a truck driver for 48 years, retiring in 2009 from Cardinal Cartage in Ft. Wayne.  He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge and enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and especially spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by two sons, Chris (Andrea) Grimm and Robert "Robbie" Grimm Jr., both of Bluffton; two step-daughters, Stacy (Beulan) Davis of Hazard, KY, and Jamie (Kevin) Perry of Zanesville; a step-son, James Williams of Bluffton; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Jane (Paul) Frauhiger of Poneto; and his beloved dog, "Scooter".

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Roxie Michael; and three brothers, Harold, Pete, and Roger Grimm.

Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, from 2:00 until 8:00 PM, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton.  Services will be held Friday, at 10:00 AM, at the funeral home with one hour of visitation prior to the service.  Pastor Jody Mounsey will be officiating.  Burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery in Bluffton.
