Robert A. "Bob" Flowers, 51, of Bluffton, died at 6:42 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at his residence. Mr. Flowers was born on Feb. 21, 1961, in Bluffton, to Roger L. Flowers and Karen J. (Markley) Flowers. He married Judith A. Boots on Sept. 29, 1979, in Markle; she survives. A 1979 graduate of Bluffton High School, Mr. Flowers owned and operated Kousins Kustom Kars since 1989. He attended St. Luke Church of rural Decatur and the Markle Church of Christ. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid snowmobiler for 30 years, a Harley-Davidson rider and a Mopar collector. He loved spending time in Michigan, especially the Upper Peninsula. Other surviving relatives include his parents, of Bluffton; one son, Chris L. Flowers of Bluffton; one daughter, Jamie S. (Andrew) Tigner of Bluffton; one sister, Dianna R. Huffman of Poneto; father and mother-in-law, Claron and Beverly Boots of Bluffton; one brother-in-law, David (Sarilyn) Boots of Bluffton; one sister-in-law, Joni (Joe) Tape of Maryland; three grandchildren, Haylie and Hunter Tigner and Elijah Flowers; and several nephews and nieces. Calling hours will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel in Bluffton and from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at St. Luke Church of rural Decatur. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, at the church with Pastor Mike Wertenberger officiating. Burial is at Six Mile Cemetery.
