Rebekah June Barber, 89, of Bluffton, mercifully passed away on Friday evening, Jan. 29, 2021, at River Terrace Estates.

Rebekah was born in Ridgeville, IN. on June 17, 1931, to Hercheil and Mary (Thornburg) Rinker. She married Everett M. Barber, he preceded her in death on May 4, 2003.

She was a graduate of Ridgeville High School and attended Albany United Methodist Church.  Rebekah retired as a Human Resource Professional.

She is survived by two daughters, Debra K. (Ed) Pfeifer of LaBelle, FL. and Roxanne (Wayne) Flannery of Roanoke, IN; a sister, Ruby (Paul) Young of Bluffton; four grandchildren, Brad Carney, Heather Lehman, Megan Flannery and Nick Barber; and two great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rebekah was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Gough and Roberta Rinker.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, there are no public services scheduled at this time. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
