Perry Graham Jr., 83, of Bluffton, passed away Thursday evening, Sept. 22, 2016, in Fort Wayne, IN.

Born on August 28, 1933, in Louisville, Miss., to Perry and Sarah (Beamon) Graham, he married Sharon Y. (Bender) Lewis in Bluffton, IN; she preceded him in death on May 14, 2013.

Perry held several different union construction jobs, but was most proud of his service as a bridge carpenter.  He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and IU Basketball fan, but above all else, he enjoyed working.

He is survived by a son, Barry K. (Teresa) Lewis of Ft. Wayne; a daughter, Sarah (Bryan) Graham-Beedon of Bluffton; four grandchildren, Maya Kay Lewis, Aiden Poet Lewis, Kamden Nicholas Lewis, and Jared Beedon; a sister, Evelyn Carter-Triplett of Michigan; and a sister-in-law, Priscilla Carter.

In addition to his parents and wife, Perry was preceded in death by four brothers, George Prentice Carter, Olin Carter Sr., Lester Graham, and Johnny Mack Carter; and a sister, Effie Graham.

Public services will be held at a later date at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton.
