Naomi E. Martin, 92, of Bluffton, passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 22, 1924, in Huntington County, to Virgil Jones, and Audra Bardsley Jones. She married Richard O. Martin Aug. 3, 1945, in Warren; he preceded her in death Jan. 9, 1999.

Naomi graduated from Jackson Center High School in 1942. She worked for several years at Norris Feed Mill in Poneto and was a member of Poneto United Methodist Church. Naomi enjoyed puzzles, quilting and was a lifelong Cubs fan.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth (Linda) Martin of Poneto; a daughter, Karen Eubank of Markle; a daughter-in-law, Gloria A. Martin of Bluffton; a sister, Velma Souers of Warren; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Dale A. Martin, and a brother, Dean Jones.

Calling hours are Saturday, Nov. 12, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel. A service will follow at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Roy Nevil officiating. Burial will be at Grove Cemetery.
