Michael P. Thornbury, age 38, of Bluffton, passed away Wednesday evening, Aug. 14, 2019, at his residence in Bluffton.

Michael was born on Mar. 23, 1981, in Winchester, to Robert L. and Joanne G (Garner) Thornbury, both parents survive.

A 1999 graduate of Randoff Central High School, and a 2003 graduate of Indiana University with a degree in computer programing. He enjoyed his cats and video games, along with Trivial Pursuit. Michael loved to read Science Fiction and was a Star Trek Fan. He especially enjoyed cooking.

Survivors include two sisters, Christine Hatcher and Rose (Ryan) Quinn, both of Bluffton; several aunts and uncles.

A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. A memorial service will be at 3:00 PM, at the funeral home. Steve Quinn will be officiating.
