A native of Bluffton, Melody Ann Shell, 47, Fort Wayne, died at 3:20 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, in Bluffton. Born on Jan. 16, 1964 to Ron and Rita A. (Larimore) Pietosi, she married Edward G. Shell on Oct. 13, 1987 in Auburn; he survives. Other survivors include her mother, Rita Foss of Bluffton; her father; a daughter, Danyell Abbott of Fort Wayne; a son, Anthony Shell of Noblesville; a brother, Michael (Mindy) Pietosi of Decatur; two sisters, Melinda Foss of Geneva and Melissa (Rob) Manns of Bluffton; and six grandchildren. Services will be held Wed. at 7 p.m. at Goodwin Memorial Chapel. Calling hours are there from 2 to 7 p.m. Wed. Burial will be in Six Mile Cemetery.
