Maxine E. Curry, 98, of Bluffton, passed away Tuesday morning, January 13, 2015, at Christian Care Retirement Community in Bluffton. Maxine is survived by one son, Jan (Alice) Curry of Bluffton; a daughter, Sharon (Luther) Gerber of Craigville; 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Elizabeth (Porter) Grosjean; her husband, Hubert H. Curry; and two sisters, Genevieve Shady and Mary Williams. A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 15, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. at the Fairview Cemetery in Bluffton, with Mark Gerber officiating.
