Obituary

Max was a strength to the city of Bluffton having graduated from Blufftoh High School in 1938. Serving his country in WW II in the US Army. Serving as a Bluffton Police Officer after military service then staring his career as a Fuller Brush Sales Rep for over 35 yrs. His passion was the Bluffton Free Street Fair. Serving the post as President for 18 years. Starting the Coral contest that has been so sucessful even to this date. Signing the orginal contract with the Poor Jack Amusement Co. and still to this date being member of the Board of Directors of the fair. He was avid Purdue fan and a loyal supporter of the Bluffton High School "Tigers". He was a 50 year member of the Grover Sheets American legion Post 111. He was active in the 1st Baptist Church where he was a active member.
