Max A. Bills, 62, of Yoder, passed away Sunday evening, January 28, 2018. Max was born in Bluffton on May 11, 1955; his parents, Ralph Bills and Alice (Studabaker) Bills, both preceded him in death. Max married Julie (Engle) Bills on July 10, 1976, she survives.

Max was a pastor and professor at Huntington University. He truly enjoyed racing, and classic muscle cars. He also liked history, and cooking.

Survivors include two sons, Chris Bills, John (Andrea) Bills; eight grandchildren.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Beth Myers.

A private family graveside was held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Six Mile Cemetery in Bluffton.
