Mary G. Williams, 100, formerly of Bluffton, died at 2;10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at Heritage Pointe in Warren. She was born Oct. 8, 1912, in Bluffton, to Victor Grosjean and Elizabeth (Eddington) Grosjean. She married Clarence L. Williams in Bluffton, Dec. 19, 1948; he preceded her in death, Oct. 24, 1998. A 1930 graduate of P.A. Allen High School, Mrs. Williams retired from the Wells County Public Library in 1982, and was known as "The Bookmobile Lady." She also worked at the J.O. Morris Five and Dime Store in Bluffton. She was a member of the First Reformed Church in Bluffton. Surviving relatives include one daughter, Judy (Robert ) Maxwell of Bluffton; one son, Alan S. (Mara Jo) Williams of Bluffton; one sister, Maxine Curry of Bluffton; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Williams was also preceded in death by one sister, Genevieve Shady. Calling hours will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30,, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home, with Dr. Bryson Bell officiating. Burial is at Grove Cemetery, in Poneto.
