Martha A. Grimm, 78, of Bluffton, passed away Monday evening, Oct. 4, 2021, at Ossian Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Martha was born in Van Wert, OH, on July 2, 1943, to Gordon and Betty (Davis) Hauter.  Both parents preceded her in death.

Martha was a member of Sonlight Wesleyan Church in Bluffton and worked in the dietary department at Caylor Nickel Clinic for over 30 years until retiring.

Survivors include a daughter, Teresa (Matt) Smith of Ossian; three grandchildren, Andrew Smith, Ashly Smith, and Anna Smith; three great-grandchildren, Karlee Lloyd, Aiden Smith, and Landon Jessup; two brothers, Sam (Kathy) Hauter of Van Wert, OH, and Roy (Pat) Hauter of Convoy, OH; two sisters, Rose Jenkins of Decatur, and Kay Hauter of Lexington, KY; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Hauter; two sisters, Evelyn Heare and Carolyn Hauter; three nieces, Lisa Filips, Rebecca Heare, and Roxie Michael; and nephew, SSG Phillip Jenkins.

Visitation will be on Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, from 10:00 AM until noon, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, followed immediately by a funeral service at 12:00 noon.  Pastor Lyle Breeding will officiate.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City, OH.
