Marjorie "Mae" Taylor, 92, of Bluffton, died at 2:05 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, in the continuing care unit of the Bluffton Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Taylor was a licensed practical nurse for Wells Community Hospital and the Caylor Nickel Clinic. She was a member of the First Church of Christ. She was born March 31, 1917, in Wells County, to Clinton B. Studabaker and Grace Warner Studabaker. She married J. Farrell Taylor May 28, 1938, in Bluffton; her husband preceded her in death Feb. 3, 1991. Survivors include three sons, Gene (Shirley) Taylor and Ronald (Mary) Taylor, both of Bluffton, and Richard (Jan) Taylor of Carlisle, Ohio; a daughter, Phyllis (Roger) Gore of Bluffton; 11 grandchildren, 16 greatgrandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Hugh Studabaker and Robert Studabaker, both of Bluffton, and Max Studabaker of Spring Lake, Mich. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Studabaker and Clinton "Brownie" Studabaker, and two sisters, Betty Zimmerman and Alice Schaefer. Calling will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. Services will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Friday with Larry Sprinkle and Pastor Chad Clark officiating. Burial will be at the Six Mile Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to the Family Hospice and Palliative Care or to the Wells County Humane Society.
