Marilyn K. Gerber, 80, of Norman, Ark., died at 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013, at her residence. She was born in Wells County June 23, 1932, to Lantz Wasson and Mae Clowser Wasson. She married Richard Gerber Nov. 25, 1952, in Bluffton; he survives. Other survivors include a son, Jeff (Jackie) Gerber of Geneva; three daughters, Marlene (Jim) Hess of St. Marys, Idaho, Cindy Bradfield of Occee, Fla., and Lyn (Patrick) Weldon of Virginia Beach, Va.; and 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ner William Wasson, and a sister, Katherine Shady. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 28, at the Markle Chapel Hill Seventh-day Adventist Church. Burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery in Bluffton. The Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel of Bluffton is in charge of arrangements.
