Marie K. Brown, 63, of Bluffton, passed away Wednesday morning, Dec. 23, 2015, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Detroit, MI, on May 19, 1952, to Charles R. and Betty J. (Pray) Banister.

Marie enjoyed all the beauty in life and loved to share laughter with family and friends.  Family was most important to her and aside from spending time with them, she was also a caregiver to many.  She worked for Bi-county Services of Adams and Wells County for many years.  Marie was not only able to give to others during her life, she was also able to help countless others with her organ donation after death.

Marie is survived by two daughters, Tina Brown of Bluffton and Renee Brown (Joyce Webster) of Flint, MI; three grandchildren, Garrett, Erin, and Kaitlin Meekin, all of Bluffton; along with two sisters, Bonnie (Jerry) Broughton of Mt. Morris, MI, and Nancy (Pat) Marshall of Mesa, AZ; and one brother, Bob (Kathy) Banister of Davison, MI.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Banister, and two sisters, Janet Redstrom and Betty Banister.

Friends and family are welcome to gather on Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, from 1:00 until 3:00 PM, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel.  A service to celebrate Marie's life will be held on Monday immediately following visitation at 3:00 PM, with Dr. Bryson E. Bell officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Wells Community Boys & Girls Club.
