Lynn R. Frauhiger, 65, of Bluffton, passed away Thursday morning, Nov. 17, 2016, at Christian Care Retirement Community.

Born in Bluffton on Jan. 31, 1951, to Sylvan and Doris (Gilliom) Frauhiger, Lynn married Jenny S. Baumgartner in Bluffton on April 24, 1983; she survives.

A 1969 graduate of Norwell High School, Lynn later graduated from Indiana Institute of Technology in 1973 with a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.  He worked at International Truck and Engine Corp. in Ft. Wayne for 39 years, retiring in March of 2012.  During that time, he owned and operated Frank's Sport Shop in Bluffton.

Lynn was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church and the National Rifle Association.  In his free time, he enjoyed gunsmithing and woodworking.

In addition to his wife, Lynn is survived by three sons, Jim (Amy) Frauhiger of Ossian, John (Emily) Frauhiger of Milford, and Luke Frauhiger of Glorieta, NM; a daughter, Lisa (Joe) Leman of Bluffton; and a sister, Luann (Phil) Fahl of Bluffton.

Aside from his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Lavon Gerber.

Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, from 3:00 until 6:00 PM, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton and again on Sunday, from noon until 7:00 PM, also at the funeral home.  Services will be held Monday, at 10:30 AM, at the Apostolic Christian Church East, with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the church.  Steve Frauhiger and Jeff Lemon will officiate. Burial will be at Apostolic Christian Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Apostolic Christian Church.
