Lorretta Lou McFarren, 73, of Fort Wayne, died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012, at her home. Mrs. McFarren was born on Aug. 2, 1938 in Cortland, to Robert Trueblood and Helen (Boknecht) Trueblood. She married Charles Marion McFarren on Feb. 14, 1980, in Fort Wayne; he preceded her in death on March 19, 2009. Surviving relatives include a son, Jeff (Karen) Ault of Columbus; a sister, Patricia (Jack) Foist of Taylorsville; a brother, Robert (Cindy) Trueblood of Merrillville; a half-brother, Paul (Candice) Trueblood of Seymour; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. A private funeral service will be held immediately after visitation at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at the McFarren Cemetery.
