Lorene Elizabeth "Peg" Stieglitz, 93, of Bluffton, passed away Thursday morning, November 20, 2014, in Kokomo, IN. Born on November 2, 1921, in Adams County, IN, to Daniel O. and Sarah L. (Tonner) Kehrn, she married Robert High on September 24, 1949; he preceded her in death on May 23, 1979. She later married Harold Stieglitz, on June 6, 1987; he preceded her in death on June 25, 2002. A 1940 graduate of Kirkland High School. Peg later worked for K-mart for ten years. She also had spent time working for Montgomery Ward and Dairy Queen. She was a member of the St. John United Church of Christ. Peg is survived by one daughter, Connie J. (Donald) Moeschberger of Kokomo; two grandsons, Andy (Alison) Moeschberger and Chuck (Brandi) Moeschberger; along with three great-granddaughters, Ellie, Izzi, and Roxi Moeschberger. Aside from her parents and spouses, Peg was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Eugene High and a sister, Melvena Gerber. Visitation will be Sunday, November 23, 2014, from 1:00 until 6:00 P.M. at Goodwin - Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel, 3220 East State Road 124, Bluffton, IN. Services will be held Monday, at 10:30 A.M., at the funeral home, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Pastor Jerry Qualls will be officiating. Burial will be at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Adams County. Memorial contributions may be given to Christian Care Retirement Community in Bluffton, IN, or the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Kokomo, IN in care of the funeral home.
