Loraine Werling, age 81, of Salina, KS passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015. She was born December 10, 1933 in Mt. Sterling, IL to Leslie and Laura (Tice) Simmons. She was an administrative Assistant in the churches where her husband served as pastor. She was a God fearing person, always believed in God, an he always came through. She and her husband served many churches throughout the United States and Canada. She is survived by three daughters, Martha Werling, Mary (Mark) Hassman and Ruth Werling; a son, John (Ericka) Werling, and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held in Salina, KS on Monday August 17, 2015. A graveside service will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Ossian, IN on Wednesday August 19, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Memorials are to Trinity Lutheran Church, Salina, KS. Goodwin - Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel, 322 East SR 124 Bluffton, IN have been entrusted with the local arrangements.
