Linda K. Friday, 59, of Berne, died at 11:01 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2013, at Adams Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 15, 1954, at Fort Wayne, to Silas Shepherd and Dorothy L. Schnurr Shepherd. Her mother survives in Berne. She married Dennis J. Friday Sept. 15, 1976, at Winter Park, Fla. Her husband survives. Linda worked in the banking industry her whole adult life, and most recently at IAB Financial Bank in Bluffton. Also surviving are a son, Leonard J. (Angela) Friday of Johnson City, Tenn.; three grandchildren; a sister, Peggy Hulett of Berne; and a brother, Steven W. (Skeeter) Shepherd of Geneva. Calling will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Goodwin-Cale and Harnish Memorial Chapel. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the M.R.E. Cemetery in Berne. Memorial contributions can be made to the Pet Fund, at Smith Veterinary Hospital in Berne, IN.
